The Northern California Bicycle Expo on Saturday begins with an early-morning ride through Santa Rosa and is followed by a downtown fair featuring new and used bikes, accessories, food and music.
It is the second year for the expo, which is put on by the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition.
A 10-mile ride begins at 8:30 a.m. to highlight bike paths and bike lanes and includes several Sonoma County elected officials.
The free expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot at Santa Rosa City Hall. It features new and used bicycles, gear, accessories, clothes and arts and crafts, bicycle moto-cross demonstrations, music by Crazy Famous, and theater by WhiskeyPunks and The Imaginists.
There will be a Big Wheeler tent offering specialty food, wine and beer for $30 for bicycle coalition members and $45 for non-members.
BikeSonoma will provide free bicycle parking.
