Right now! Free Christmas trees for veterans and people in need

Adam Parks does not like thinking about tight finances causing a family to go without a Christmas tree.
He is inviting people unable to afford a tree to give him a call (332-4605) or come by his family’s Victorian Christmas Tree Ranch north of Sebastopol.
Adam also has donated a few dozen trees to the local Veterans Administration clinic for free distribution to vets.
Anyone who has served in the military and would like a tree can go - first come, first served – to the vacant lot next to the clinic Airport and Brickway boulevards, near the Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport.
Adam said from his family’s tree ranch at Gravenstein Highway North and Mill Station Road it’s been a good season, and he’d like see that a lack of funds doesn’t cause anybody a treeless Christmas.
“We could have used something other than June weather,” he said as the sun glowed Thursday, “but I’m not complaining.”

I’ve sent this to my niece who served 5 years in the Navy. Going two time all the way to Afghanistan on a Navel vessel with supplies. She goes to college and is getting a dental degree. God Bless the Victorian Christmas Tree Ranch!
