This week: wine tasting, an open house, music and tatoos and blues

The week ahead includes wine tasting at Willi’s Wine Bar, an Open House at Dr. Walter Tom’s Aesthetic Laser & Vein Center, the musical “Some Like it Hot,” the 21st Annual Tattoos and Blues weekend festival and a Kate Wolf tribute concert.

Willi’s Wine Bar is holding a “Tasting Tuesdays” (2/21) starting at 4 p.m. A different winemaker will be available each Tuesday in February and March to lead a tasting of three wines paired with small bites. Tickets are $16 and available until 3 p.m. at WillisWineBar.net. The restaurant is at 4404 Old Redwood Highway, Santa Rosa. Information: 526-3798.

Aesthetic Laser & Vein Center is holding an Open House on Thursday (2/23) starting at 3 p.m. The event will feature information, discounts and giveaways of Obagi, Dysport and Clear & Brilliant products. Montgomery High School presents the musical “Some Like It Hot” for eight performances starting on Thursday (2/23) at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. The 21st Annual Tattoos & Blues Festival starts three days of tattooing, body piercing and live blues music on Friday (2/24) at noon at the Flamingo Conference Resort & Spa. Some of the world’s finest artists, competitions, seminars, music, circus acts and music are promised. The cost is $20 daily or $35 for weekend. The resort is located at 2777 4th St, Santa Rosa. The world premiere of “Unfinished Life” a tribute concert to Kate Wolf will be at the Glaser Center on Saturday (2/25) & Sunday (2/26) starting at 8 p.m. The California Redwood Chorale, directed by Robert Hazelrigg performs a compilation of Wolf’s songs arranged by Randall Keith Horton for mezzo- soprano soloist Bonnie Brooks, choir, and guitar.
