YMCA Harvest Run on Oct. 7
The YMCA Harvest Run will have a new look when its renewed for the 34th time on Sunday, October 7.
For the first time, the event will begin and end at the Sonoma County facility (1111 College Ave., Santa Rosa) and will take participants through the McDonald, Proctor Terrace and Hidden Valley neighborhoods.
As per tradition, there will be three courses: 1k, 5k and 10k. The 1k and 5k are open to runners and walkers.
Pre-registation closes at 5 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 2). The adult pre-registration fee is $30 and increases $10 through race day. The cost for those 12-and-under is $12.

7:45 a.m.-1k begins
8:15 a.m.-10k begins
8:20 a.m.-5k begins
Post-race activities include music and a raffle. The top three finishers in each race will receive awards.
