A new exhibition called “Peanuts Celebrations” will open at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at the Charles M. Schulz Museum, 2301 Hardies Lane. The exhibition will feature all of the yearly holidays celebrated in more than 70 original Peanuts strips and will run through April 1. Tickets: $10, $5 youth/seniors. The Santa Rosa Republican Women will host speaker Lara Harfoush at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at the Fountaingrove Golf & Athletic Club, 1525 Fountaingrove Parkway. Harfoush is from the Pacific Legal Foundation and will speak on topics that include healthcare and the Koontz vs. St. John River Water Management District case. The Hilton-Sonoma Wine Country Hotel will host a 2013 North Bay Employment Update from 8:30-11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at 3555 Round Barn Blvd. The year brings more employment law changes than any year in the past decade. The workshop will cover new developments that affect employers in areas such as at-will employment, arbitration agreements, personnel files, wage statements, pregnancy leave and meal or rest periods. The Vista Family Health Center will host a community forum on HIV and Aging at 5:30 Friday, Jan. 25, at 3569 Round Barn Circle. The Community Forum will feature local health professionals who specialize in the field of HIV care and a panel of people living with HIV who will share their experiences. Free. The Boys & Girls Club of Sonoma County presents its annual crab feed at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at at the Brooks Road Club, 9640 Brooks Road South, Windsor. The menu will feature all-you-can-eat crab, pasta, salad and bread, along with dancing, silent and live auctions, a DJ and a no-host bar. Christy’s on the Square will host comedian Jabari Davis at  8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at 96 Old Courthouse Square. Hosted by Juan Carlos, the night will also feature the comedy of Marty Carrion, Sarah Witmore, Matt Lieb and a special performance by Sarah Witmore. Ensembles from the Santa Rosa Youth Symphony Orchestra will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at the Luther Burbank Art & Garden Center, 2050 Yulupa Ave. The event is sponsored by the Santa Rosa Symphony League and benefits the Symphony’s music education programs.
