Enjoy the free music of “Live at Juilliard!” at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at Juilliard Park, 409 Santa Rosa Ave. Commemorating its 20th season, Live at Juilliard! hosts weekly free concerts by some of the Bay Area’s best musicians straight through summer. Enjoy the food and fun this Sunday to the tunes of Purple Haze, a Jimi Hendrix tribute band. All concerts are free and open to the public. Info: ci.santa-rosa.ca.us.

Jean Slone hosts “Dining With Authors,” a meet and greet dinner with local Sonoma County writers, at 6 p.m. Monday, July 8, at Gaia’s Gardeen Vegetarian Buffet, 1899 Mendocino Ave. Enjoy dinner alongside Michelle Minero, Gloria Tausk Glickman, Dr. Mark Svetcos, Hank Mattimore and John Amodeo. The “Third Annual Wine Country Big Q,” a barbecue competition hosted by the Kansas City Barbecue Society, kicks off at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at Sonoma Academy, 2500 Farmers Lane, drawing in grill pit masters far and wide. “Dining with Daisies,” a dinner gala, begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at Luther Burbank Home & Gardens, 204 Santa Rosa Ave. Guests are invited to enjoy the dinner, wine, hors d’oeuvres, live music and silent auction. The auction includes more than 50 items donated by local businesses, artists, wineries and others, including a dinner for six in the historic Burbank Home. Admission: $125. A Model T Car Show opens to the public at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 14, at the Montgomery Village Shopping Center, State Highway 12 and Farmers Lane. Sweep into history and see some of the first Model T’s produced. Dancing, live music, wine, microbrews and barbecue will entertain you for hours on end. The event is free and open to the public.
