Sonoma County Bicycle Expo, brought to downtown Santa Rosa by the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition, is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 17 on Fifth St. between Mendocino Ave. and B St. The Expo is free and features vendors, demonstrations, food, beverages and activities for all ages. Block Party and Beer Bash Fundraiser, which benefits the Sonoma County Museum’s exhibition and education programming, runs from 4 – 8 p.m., Sunday, August 17 at the museum, located at 425 Seventh St. Tickets, which entitle bearers to two beer tastings and a barbecue meal are $50 through Aug. 11 ($35 for museum members) and $60 thereafter. Funny Girl opens at 8 p.m. on Friday, August 22 at G.K Hardt Theatre, 6th Street Playhouse, 52 W. Sixth St. Tickets are $15 to $35. The play, directed by Barry Martin, runs through September 14. Info: 6thstreetplayhouse.com.
Happy 20th Birthday Rincon Valley Library party is 1 – 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23 at the library, 6959 Montecito Blvd. The mayor will proclaim the day Rincon Valley Library Day, refreshments will be served and the Hot Frittatas will provide music.
