SRJC announces artists for 2014-2015 Chamber Series

The SRJC Community Education Office has announced artists for its 2014-2015 Chamber Concert Series and a new method for ordering tickets. The Community Education Office has partnered with City Box Office to streamline ticket purchases. Tickets may be purchased at City Box Office for either one, your choice of three or season tickets. Parking passes are included with tickets for all shows.

This season’s concerts are all in the Newman Auditorium on the SRJC Santa Rosa campus (1501 Mendocino Avenue), with the exception of the last one in April, which will be held at the Carol L. Ellis Auditorium, on the Petaluma campus. The artists and times are as follows:

  • Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, 4 p.m.  – Internationally acclaimed pianist, Anton Nel
  • Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, 7:30 p.m. – The New Esterhazy Quartet
  • Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, 4 p.m. – The Dorian Wind Quintet, billed as the first wind quintet to perform Carnegie Hall
  • Friday, Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m.  – “Triumphant Virtuosity” with violinist Gilles Apap, pianist Grace Fong
  • Sunday, Mar. 15, 2015, 4 p.m. –  “Playing from the Heart” with pianist, Anne-Marie McDermott (Special Randolph Newman Concert underwritten by Elizabeth Witchey-Ryer)
  • Friday, Apr. 10, 2015, 7:30 p.m. – The Alexander String Quartet, performing internationally for 30 years
